Hello ,
it looks like a S&L piece. the only thing that I don't like is the silver content stamp, as it looks to have been put after binding both parts of the cross

Hi Esquiro.
Yes the seller says it is a S&L piece.
The stamping looks OK to me, not so very hard stamped in the silver, but from the pictures I have posted of the stampings it is a bit difficult to see.

Did S&L crosses also come without the "800" proofmarking ?
I am no expert on Knigth`s crosses but if this one is original I plan to buy it.

I dont like the way that the ends of the loop have been finished.They are usualy rounded to jeweler quality.
I would post pics of mine,but I dont have macro capability.

I don't like the silver stamp, also 1939 looks a little thin and unstable.

I'm no expert but worth comparing to above thread.
